Course Content
Study of recent advances in development of machine vision algorithms
and knowledge-based vision systems. Topics include:
- Image formation and geometry
- Feature detection and matching in gray-scale and color images
- 3-D vision: camera calibration, stereo, recognizing 3d objects from models
- Motion analysis and tracking: video image processing and time-varying
image analysis
Applications to
- video surveillance
- human motion analysis
- gesture recognition and human-computer interaction
will be considered.

Grading
The course grade will be determined approximately as follows:
- Class participation and presentations: 30%
- Homeworks: 40%
- Project: 30%
