Ambient Intelligence

This research studies concrete applications in domains such as assisted living, health care, and home security. Two fundamental components of this work are

(a) building proofs of concept by integrating novel devices and software technologies, and

(b) evaluating the practicality and usability of the solutions by real, non-computer-expert users. For this, both controlled user studies and “in the wild” deployments are used.
